Atalanta is one of strongest heroines in greek mythology, and yet there are few adaptations that are told from her perspective. This musical shines a light on the woman who uses with her wit, bravery and passion, to defy the status quo, and becomes the fastest runner and highest skilled huntress in the land.

Alongside other brave heroes and friends like Hippomenes, Meleager, Hercules, Orpheus, Jason and the Argonauts, and the Goddess Artemis, Atalanta faces evil centaurs, a terrifying prophecy from an oracle, a deadly boar, a jealous Goddess Aphrodite, three golden apples, and so many men.

Her story is epic, tragic, inspiring, and one to be told.

Lisette Glodowski created this musical storybook as a radio musical in 2021, starring Kai An Chee as Atalanta. Now being adapted for the stage, The Adventures of Atalanta has bloomed into a sung-through score with multiple genres all working together to create a new magical take on this myth.
